In my sculptures I am trying to convey an internal world of a person, as if it is contained inside a closed form, or like a figure that undergoes an inversion on a complex plane.
I am looking for a three-dimensional space that can hold an external world.
Human psychology fascinates me, and the easiest way for me to express my ideas and thoughts is through building a figure.
The "girl" in my work is simply a metaphor of an inner child, the reflection of life.
Teapots are my favorite shapes to work with. The scale is small enough to treat them as "test tiles" of the idea, but big and challenging enough to investigate different options.
