Erotic Fantasis

Unexpectedly I discovered that in my art I'm looking for a psychological interpretation of certain events that influenced my life. This new series of sculptural work is related to my childhood memories about time that I spent wolking in parks and looking at antique sculptures.
This work represents souls of frozen marble figures of goddesses and nymphs.

During summer months all statues appeared impressive, with their snow-white marble skin against the green foliage and the deep blue sky, perfectly chiseled faces and hands, and innocently constructed poses. The picture changed dramatically when the winter came. A drastic transformation occurred. Rough wooden boxes covered the most fragile figures; the wind was blowing through the cracks and the snow covered the surfaces. I was looking through the panels and my child's mind was drawing pictures of frozen souls of the goddesses. Will they survive the winter; are they going to be the same next year? How do they feel shielded from light and from human attention?
